Pirates of the Caribbean, or otherwise referred to as the acronym PoTC is a licensed/trademarked theme released in 2011. The debut sets were a combination of the (at the time) unreleased new movie, "On Stranger Tides", and some from the first movie, "The Curse of the Black Pearl."
Video Games[]
Like other themes such as Star Wars and Harry Potter, PoTC also had a video game adaption. It was released on PC, Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, DS, and 3DS. As always with the aforementioned games, it was developed by Traveler's Tales (TT).
The Future of the Theme[]
It is unknown whether the theme will continue to bring sets or that there will be another video game. There is another possible MOVIE sequel coming out in 2013, so that might be the theme's only chance of a long-term product line.
